Index of Subjects --00248c768f5aa171dc04d6022d54 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Last Friday, I too was impressed to see a Kingfisher over the Pomquet R., in Pomquet, Ant. Co. However, if you're going to find one in winter here, that would be the place to look. I was even more surprised to see a second Kingfisher that day in Lanark, Ant. Co., over an open stream. My only accipiter is a juvenile Sharpie which has been hanging out at my feeders, munching on the abundant redpolls and jays. The only evidence I have of it taking morning doves is circumstantial...I'm down to one MODO from an earlier 12.
