Much to my surprise I looked out of my kitchen window at 7:30 pm and there in the Maple tree was a lovely Barred Owl. I have heard them before but not seen them, so this was just wonderful for me. The Varied Thrush seems to have moved on as he has not been seen over the past few days. Happy Birding Dorothy Cameron Woods Harb., NS
