Hi all
Here in Pictou Co., spring has not progressed very far yet with loads of =
snow cover and most views of the Strait have ice packed in as far as one =
can see. No peas in my garden yet as a couple of feet of snow there!.=20

I have yet to spot DC Cormorants at the Pictou causeway. Most years they =
are here by now.

Grackles and Red-winged Blackbirds have been present for 10 days or more =
and I saw my first Great Blue Heron today at Waterside PP. The fields =
along the service road to Pictou Lodge had 20+ American Robins today and =
there was also one in my yard.

I had single Yellow-rumped Warblers today at the Dragline on Caribou I. =
and yesterday at Big I., but these are over-wintering birds.=20

cheers
Ken
