Today from about 1:00 to 2:30 PM, we birded Shore Road at Eastern
Passage. Just before you get to 1859 Shore Road there is a good
pullover; scanning the ocean, we had 2 Red-throated Loons fairly close
in. A little farther down Shore Road we had a single Razorbill and 2-3
Black Guillemots, including one in full breeding plumage. At 2401 Shore
Road (the DND communications tower and out building - "No Trespassing")
a Merlin flew right over us as we glassed the ocean from our van and
there were 2-3 more guillemots there as well.
