All:

In a spring excursion this a.m., Benice & I "did" the beach at Hartlen
Pr.(singing Savannah Sparrows), then as far as Lawrencetown Beach and
back via the Minesville Rd in a vain scouting for the N. Caracara. Did
see a few "black-backed" Am. Robins on lawns in forest-surrounded
communities. On the way back via hiways 107 & 7, all the traditional
Osprey nests seemed to be occupied. There was also an occupied one on
a power pole right at roadside on the heavily inhabited stretch
(commercial & housing) just e. of the large garden centre near Loon
Lake (?). Hadn't seen that one before, but presumably others have.

Cheers, Ian
