hi folks,
Of note today at Miner's Marsh, Kentville (3:00-4:00 pm):

- 1 adult male *Merlin *
- 5 *Yellow-rumped Warblers* singing
- 1 *Cardinal* singing
- 1 *Red-bellied Woodpecker* giving sporadic "querr"calls (did not see, but
certain it was not a Flicker flight/flush call nor Starling imitation);
this was by the lookout tower.
- 1 *Purple Finch *singing

Several *Red-winged Blackbirds* and *Common Grackles.*
