Had purple finches here in Morden this week too.  Redpolls still sharing =
the niger seed with goldfinches.  Had one solitary rose-breasted =
nuthatch yesterday.  Put one hummingbird feeder out, no customers yet.

They arrived here in Hubbards a couple of days ago together with =
goldfinches. Lots of Woodpeckers around and a flicker on the lawn =
yesterday. Had a flock of starlings here for about a week, very unusual =
in our heavily wooded area.
