Almost always when I see or come across a adult Northern Gannet on the =
beach it doesn't turn out well for the bird! Some times the juv. in the =
fall can be found exhausted along the shore BUT will return to the =
safety of the water quickly when approached.=20

Great, thank you. The lady who took the photo said it was just laying =
there and when she got closer it spread it's wings , but didn't fly. She =
also said it seemed to be limping. Apparently it's still there.=20
