Antarctica for an Hour or a Month

Thursday, June 6, 7.30 p.m. : HFN Talk at the Natural History Museum 
Auditorium

David MacKenzie will share highlights and impressions of a trip which he 
made to Antarctica. The story began with a Request for Proposal to his 
company for aircraft to provide cargo and personnel transfer from Chile 
to Antarctica. meticulous planning for a trip to a continent where 
weather and terrain can alter plans suddenly. David will relate examples 
of skill, daring, tension and humour - with an added touch of Chilean 
politics and experiences with nature.
