>My red crossbills were here in Rich. Co. together yesterday for the first
time in at least a couple of weeks.  The male has been here daily,
filling up amd then leaving, probably to feed the female on the nest. 
Yesterday was probably warm enough for the female to leave her nest for
awhile.

 forgot to mention earlier we have a pair of red crossbills that are
