We saw a number of Swallowtails from Liverpool along to Shelburne =
yesterday. More than I have seen in a few years. I expect the heat =
brought them out?=20
I am seeing wooly bears, some quite long, 3" or so, and more that are =
larger and all black There are a few others red and black. Usually we =
see those in the fall, no?=20
Am I just starting to notice them sooner than I have been? I saw what =
was probably a small Viceroy or Monarch Friday and again on Saturday. It =
was flitting about very quickly so couldn't get a photo. We are still =
having a number of June bugs banging on the screens at night.=20
I am very curious to see if we have even as close to a repeat of the =
Painted Ladies and Red Admirals again this year.
