This usually stops within a week or so and is VERY common this time of
year. I'm assuming it's hormonal. Not all nuisance control people are
non-lethal so I'd make sure this person knows exactly what the plans are
for this bird. They can also just hold tight and it will stop.,,likely the
best option for the grouse as it would have a territory there, knows where
the good food spots are etc. I am not a fan of relocating as studies have
been done with relocated animals and they often die for a multitude of
reasons. It's especially hard on mammals.
