Hi Jim,

I don't know about the CBC but Cindy Day had an article on the pelican on
CTV!. Fran lourie

Subject: [NatureNS] American White Pelican Update

It was still present this evening at Upper South Cove in First South. I
heard that CBC did a blip on the bird today or maybe yesterday. I tried to
find it, but it does not seem to be posted yet online. If someone comes
across it I'd like to be able to see the clip that was filmed.

I also had a male red-bellied woodpecker in flight across the marsh at
Oakland. I first thought that it was a flicker flying across, but when I
put my binoculars on the bird I found that I was mistaken. The other bird
of note but not rare today was a pileated woodpecker that flew across the
103 somewhere just beyond Chester in the direction of Halifax.
