Yesterday, Carol and I drove down to West Pubnico. We had a delicious
lunch of creamed lobster and toast at the Dennis Point Cafe. We stayed
at the Red Cap Motel and had their rappie pie and bread pudding for
supper. There were a few showers yesterday but none today.

It seems to me there was something else...oh yeah, we saw the Myna.

There were 60 Short-billed Dowitchers in West Pubnico this morning. We
drove to Brier Isand today on the way home and saw a Turkey Vulture on a
road-killed animal that looked like a fawn. Returning from Brier
Island, there were 5 Turkey Vultures on the roof of a house on Digby
Neck. We thought of calling the RCMP to check it out. Who knows what
might have attracted them there : )
