Super interesting story.=20

To me (just speculating, of course), taking into account the l6yr age, and t=
he bit I know about WP family/territory dynamics. The young banded Hairy may=
have been tolerated for the 3-4yts to 2011 by the territory holder (possibl=
y a parent) until the latter saw it as a threat and ousted it. This year he m=
ay have won this desired breeding turf from his former rival and successfull=
y raised a family. It will be neat to see what next year brings.=20

I just saw my first Bank Swallow this year in Lakeview, kings Co at an Xmas T=
ree Farm. Another sign of birds on the move?
