Dear All, July 30, 2013
Image of Psathyrella candolleana is at this link.

The presence white veil fragments around the pileus margin is
characteristic.
On the back lawn where for years I shredded all brush under 2 cm diam
with a lawn mower. It now gets dressings of sawdust by chance. The best
stands were near a Lilac hedge as it became overwhelmed by trees and died.
This is edible but entirely without taste when fried with olive oil.
Good when fried with 20/80.

Yt, Dave Webster, Kentville
