Here on Wyman Road, south of Yarmouth, I have just come n from hanging out
the clothes. The back year includes open space, old, living and dead spruce
trees,, and some shrubbery. Nuthatches were active on a couple of the
snags. Could not see the colour, but the calls sounded red-breasted. Also
an adult and a young black-throated green were actively scolding me for
coming too close. Good to see both of those little guys, because neither
has been as common as in previous years.
