A young field sparrow is definitely a possibility.  I've only seen adults i=
n the past=2C so that is likely why I was puzzled.  The depiction of the ju=
venile in National Geographic is basically what I saw in the bird here.  I =
thought about it as an option=2C but passed over it.  How often are young f=
ield sparrows seen here?  I don't ever remember of having heard of reports =
of juveniles here for that species.  All the best=2C
