*Bon Portage Island - reported by David Bell*

*17 Aug 2013*

A Prairie Warbler was seen during census on Bon Portage
Island, and 53 birds were banded on the first day of banding.

**18 August 2013*

74 birds banded, including a Clay-colored Sparrow. A Solitary Sandpiper
seen on census.

*19 Aug 2013

A good day of migration, with good migration.  Census highlights
include *Yellow-billed
Cuckoo, Cooper's Hawk, Baird's Sandpiper, Solitary Sandpiper, and House
Finch.*  Also an early *Red-necked Grebe*.

3 *Solitary Sandpipers*

*23 Aug 2013 *

1 *Solitary Sandpiper*
1 *American Oystercatcher*
1 *South Polar Skua* on seawatch (along with Great & Sooty Shearwaters,
Atlantic Puffins.
