Here in Wolfville, I think we have grand fir(s)? along the western  
edge of the Woodland Trails, and there used to be a silver fir? on  
the campus near Univ. Hall (but I think it was removed quite a while  
ago, was diseased and ugly).  Jim in Wolfville.
