=0ASubject: [NatureNS] Bumble Bees=0A =0A=0A=0A =0AOver the past several y=
ears, I have been concentrating on photographing =0Aall the Bumble Bees of =
NS. This goal was inspired by a file received =0Afrom David McCorquodale wh=
ich presented illustrations on how to identify them (to a degree). There ar=
e 9 species of "regular" bumble bees & 3 "cuckoo" species in NS. To date I =
have photographed 7 regular & 2 =0Acuckoo species. I have posted about 35 o=
r so photos to illustrate the =0Adifficulty of identifying them from photos=
. Very few of them can be =0Aidentified in a straightforward manner (at lea=
st by me). Other than the =0Afirst five photos, all have been reviewed by s=
everal experts. With a few photos there was no consensus. They can be viewe=
