Valley Premi=E8re with the NFB of Valley filmmaker, Jason Young's, Bad Coyo=
te. The film explores the confrontations, controversy and complexities surr=
ounding the relationship between humans and nature, specifically regarding =
a new coyote breed ("coywolf") believed to be part wolf now inhabiting the =
Maritimes.
Shot partly in the Annapolis Valley, Bad Coyote features as one of five cen=
tral characters, Lance Bishop, local farmer and Wolfville Farmers' Market v=
endor. Jason Young's documentary is a vigorous analysis of the politics-and=
the price-of living and playing close to nature. He will introduce the fil=
m and offer a Q & A after the screening.

Watermark. This film of astonishing beauty and perspective reunites award-w=
inning documentary filmmaker Jennifer Baichwal with acclaimed environmental=
photographer Edward Burtynsky. While their earlier film, Manufactured Land=
scapes, examined large-scale industrial terrain, this film follows Burtynsk=
y's global photographic exploration of our most vital and compromised resou=
rce: water. Director Jennifer Baichwal will be Fundy Film's guest. She will=
introduce the film and offer a post-screening Q & A.
