Did anyone else watch the recent episode on the Nature of Things on
Dogs? Interesting stuff, and I wish some ideas had been given more time.

I was interested in Simon Godbois of Dalhousie's research on "canine
olfaction" used to track down Ribbon Snakes at Keji. But I was
distracted by the bird songs in the background. I was sure that the
recorder captured a Wood Thrush singing. I've just gone to the
website http://www.cbc.ca/natureofthings/episodes//a-dogs-life and
listened to the episode again; the Wood Thrush is at 18:00 or so.
