Subject: [NatureNS] Couple of birds of interest
Just took a walk outside in the deteriorating, warm, wet, windy weather here
on Wyman Road, south of Yarmouth.
One strangely-coloured little guy successfully found temporary shelter under
the picnic table. Got a look at him before he disappeared again:
black-throated green warbler. Poor little guy must have been brought back
by the storm.
Across the road, something larger drifted into a spruce tree by the
greenhouse, and perched. Barred owl. Saw one there a couple of years ago,
around the same time of year.
