Another Snowy Owl - this one at Brule Point, Colchester County, today.
PS. I'm somewhat concerned that none of the Snowy Owl sightings from Nova
Scotia are showing up on eBird. Nova Scotia is showing no reports while an
influx is apparent in the rest of eastern North America. Are people not
reporting to eBird or is there some other glitch? I think it is important
that as many owls from Nova Scotia as possible be added to this data base
that is being used extensively now by scientists and conservationists in
tracking bird populations.
