Hello Andy,
Wow! I think I am seeing it from my house with my telescope. It is sitting
on a wall, quite close to the water, and visible from the Dartmouth side
with a scope. I have tried to digiscope it, but I am no good at this, and
I think all I've got is an unimpressive white blurr. I will keep watching
to see if it flies away.
Snowy Owl would be a great addition to my house list!!

P.S. There was also an adult Bald Eagle on Georges Island, sitting on the
roof of the house near the lighthouse on the Halifax side of the island. It
has flown off however.
