Same here, we have several downies year round.  Just watched 3 at once on 2 adjacent hanging suet logs (logs with 4 * 1 1/4 holes filled with a 2:1 mix of suet: peanut butter).  Also, less frequently, a hairy, and in December, a flicker on several occasions (pileated - never).

No shortage of hairy and downy woodpeckers at my suet most of the winter.  This is actually the first winter I’ve had hairys so frequently  on the suet.
