Hi all:
=20
As I was driving through Bayport this afternoon=2C a hawk came across in fr=
ont of the car=2C of which my first impression was peregrine falcon. I kne=
w it was a falcon=2C but it seemed far chunkier with a much longer tail the=
n a peregrine would have and also larger=2C although there are some bigger =
peregrines as seen quite often on Brier Island. Anyhow=2C I pulled over an=
d watched the bird go across the top of the nearby hill along the borders o=
f the treeline and field. By the size=2C chunkiness and size length of the=
tail I am sure it was a gyrfalcon. =20
=20
I was also pleased to find a dovekie on the Lunenburg waterfront inside of =
the wharf which is by the Lunenburg Fish Co. Ltd.
