THURSDAY, FEB. 6 McNAB'S ISLAND

"McNab's Island; A Gem in Halifax Harbour". Carolyn Mont will discuss
the flora and fauna as well as the social history of the island, the
largest of the three in Halifax Harbour. McNab's is an amazing
destination for naturalists because over 200 species of birds have
been seen there. For those who have never been to the island, this
talk just might encourage you to add it to your list of 'must see'
places. 7:30 p.m. at the NSMNH auditorium (Nova Scotia Museum of
Natural History, 1747 Summer Street, Halifax)
