A few pigeons flew by unscathed a few times! Saturday, March 1, 2014 Ann Doull informed me that her red-bellied woodpecker surfaced in her south end Halifax backyard early this morning after a three-week absence. It tends to show up early and has a quick snack before moving on to the next unknown destination. Maybe in the woods by the tracks?
