 Considering how close some of the apartment buildings in Highfield Park are to Tufts Cove, I suppose I shouldn't have been that surprised to see the Mew (Common) Gull in the tenant parking lot of one of the buildings in between Highfield Park Drive and Victoria Road. I tend to be dropping off someone several times a week on a regular basis in the area so I was still taken aback when I seen it yesterday. I often wondered where it could be hanging out when not in the cove, so if yesterday is any indication, it appears to be cruising the neighborhood looking for sustenance in around waste and green bin receptacles.
