--089e013c674ce3a37504f64e0f44 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 This afternoon Liz and I were watching an excellent show we had recorded last week on PBS - in the Nature series, called White Falcon, White Wolf. Excellent and amazing footage of Gyrfalcons, Snowy Owls, Arctic wolves etc. on Ellesmere Island. During one scene a wolf pup was chasing some Snow geese in a pond, and I gradually realized that some of the honking wasn't coming from the TV, but from outside! I looked out the window, and the sky was full of Canada geese - several hundred in skein after skein, all heading in a N.E. direction across the Valley (possibly heading towards Canning). I put the PVR on pause and marveled at the scene. Life imitating art!
