This is a good bird trail , and worth the walking.
However most recently there has been an extension of Mitchell Street =
which is a faster access .( parking on the street ) Bear in mind that =
Seven Bridges is a Private property, and the ownership changes last year =
but a few persons access it regularly and I doubt there would be any =
problem with the owners
The regularly breeding Canada geese arrived there yesterday. They were =
active on the south end of the small Island in the upper lake where they =
have nested successfully for several years.

From the Coldbrook exit on Hwy. 101, drive east, toward Kentville, =
for a couple of kms., past the car dealers, and look for a pond =
(ice-covered?) on left side -- turn left after the pond, drive in to the =
parking lot of the Evergreen Home, alias Palmeter's, and park there. =
Access the rail trail right there and walk to the west, toward =
Coldbrook, and keep looking to the right -- eventually, after perhaps a =
10-15-minute walk, find the gravel road/path into the edge of Seven =
Bridges, which is adjacent to the rail trail, with several ponds and =
bridges and a lovely place to walk. Back where you started, to the =
right or just to the east along the rail trail, find the viewing =
opportunities for the Cornwallis River, which has a big marsh easily =
visible from just off the rail trail. Cheers from Jim in Wolfville. I =
found out about this from Andy!

I occasionally visit in the Kentville area, and I would love to =
know where Seven Bridges is.
It doesn't show up on any maps I have, and Googling turns up =
nothing.
It must be one of those places known only to the locals.
