Just to add to Patrick's note. just in case there is anyone on the list who
doesn't know Ian, he is considered one of the best and most experienced of
all birders in NS, is the "go to" person to sort out difficult bird
identifications, is the editor of NS Birds journal, the author of numerous
papers and articles on bird migration and identification, and most recently
the excellent, "must have for birders" book All the Birds of Nova Scotia.
