We tried for the Egrets in the Lawrencetown area today, but in spite of
much searching and walking were unable to find either of them. We did
find and photograph the Snowy Owl, though, which was on Leslie Rd., a
left turn just after the Lawrencetown Beach, probably about 1 p.m. And
found a pair of Green-winged Teal in the ponds beside the road across
from the Beach parking lot. Saw our first Savannah Sparrows at
Lawrencetown. There were Bald Eagles and Osprey there too and at
Conrad's. The fog was quite thick at Lawrencetown and Conrad's, also
Rainbow Haven, so we could easily have missed the Egrets.
