Friday evening at twilight, I was driving home, just south of Yarmouth.
Between Regent Street and where the former railway goes over Broad Brook,
about 100 m. east of the road, there are a couple of very substantial
boulders. One of them had a new, large white lump sitting on top of it.
I shot by, turned and went back. It was still there, unmoving.

Said lump wasn't there Saturday morning.

I was in a rush, as usual, and didn't have my binoculars with me, but the
size and shape suggested snowy owl very strongly.
