  Hi All,

At 3:45 p.m. this afternoon I saw a bird flying east over hwy 359, between
Port Williams and Greenich. It was gull sized, very white below with more
black in the wing tips than any gull. It didn't glide or soar during the
time that I watched it ( maybe 15 seconds), its flight was bouyant and the
wing beats were not "gull like". My first thought was tern, and with the
sighting a few days ago it seemed more plausable. When I checked the email
today I was even more confident, I'm betting that the bird Richard
photographed at 3 p.m. fly off to the east, then it flew over the New Minas
sewer ponds, then over the Port Williams sewer ponds and was crossing the
dyke road when I was driving toward Greenwich at 3:45 on its way to the
Wolfville sewer ponds and maybe spending the night on Boot Island.
