Hi, Sylvia and all.
I had an immature male Dickcissel overwinter in my yard in Halifax, last =
seen April 20th. He was getting very colourful when I last saw him, and =
perhaps could by now be described as stunning. Not that that's to say =
it's the same bird, but I like to think of him finding good refuges on =
his journey south.
By the way, he likes millet!
Cheers,
Susann Myers

Subject: [NatureNS] Dickcissel at Broad Cove, Lun.Co.
There is a stunning adult male under the feeders at the front of the =
house at 99 Bear Trap Road (off Beach Road). If I am here come up the =
driveway and come in the back door to view from the kitchen window, as =
it is easily flushed. It has been here since noon so it may hang around.
