A YB Sapsucker has discovered the (empty) Wood Duck nest box makes a good amplifier. 

It raps out its typical drum on the side and then hikes up to look over the top for a few minutes before descending to drum again. I don't know whether it us waiting to hear a neighboring territory holder drum in the distance or what. But it certainly swivels it's head about either listening or looking for something.
