Hi all:
=20
What a difference the night makes for the owl route. Ian Manning and Gary =
Selig helped me out with the re-run of my owl route=2C which goes from Rhod=
es Corner to Whynott's Settlement=2C to Maitland and then up to Sweetland. =
When previously run and the winds picked up to 40-50 km=2C one barred owl =
was detected. Tonight we had 10 barred owls=2C three northern saw-whets an=
d five American woodcocks. It was also nice to hear American toads trillin=
g at a lot of locations. The perfect night with little wind=2C almost clea=
r skies and a full moon. Cold for the time of the year though with us bein=
g able to see our breath for the last hour and a final temperature of +3. =
