Hi Nancy,
    Gourley (1982) indicated that specimens reported from NS as Mitrula 
paludosa Fr. are
likely M. elegans (Berk.) Fr., M. paludosa being exclusively European and 
refers to the following paper:

    Is the above (Redhead, 1977) still the last word ?
