I = found a Bay-breasted Warbler near the foot bridge but alas there was no = photographic opportunity.=20 Some selfish idiots that drive ATV's removed the hand rail along both = sides of the bridge creating a safety hazard for hikers, presumably for = their own convenience in driving their dirty noisy machines across the = creek and along the Old Annapolis Road, also destroying the road for = hiking in the process. A portion of the Old Annapolis Road skirts a bog = known for Olive-sided Flycatcher.=20 I did succeed in finding and photographing a Swainson's Thrush. Although = I saw and heard them in their usual breeding places the bird that posed = was actually beside the road. Further down the hill is a spot where American Redstart breed every = year. I heard them singing in passing and stopped for some decent photos = of this handsome guy.
