   &#160;&#160; I see no&#160;conflict at all. A cemetery makes a fine buff=
er for a wilderness park. The Western Common has an approved conceptual pla=
n, but its exact boundaries are not carved in stone so far... Its annual bu=
dget is tiny, so it will be a long time before the official trail system is=
 developed.

      Thanks for that information.&#160; How do you think this might impact=
 a green burial area?

            Hi, folks.&#160; I=E2=80=99ve just had a phone call from Wayne =
Hatcher, who owns Sunrise Park Interfaith Cemetery on Prospect road (Hatche=
t lake area).&#160; He is interested in staring a section devoted to green =
burial.&#160; He wants the area to be =E2=80=9Cwild=E2=80=9D.&#160; (This i=
s more enlightened than the fellow I spoke with in Lower Sackville, who tho=
ught a giant lawn would be good landscaping.)
           </div>=20
           <div>
            He sounds promising to me.&#160; He want to have a meeting with=
 interested folks about this.&#160; He says his sister knows someone here i=
n Halifax who has been working on this option, and he is going to find out =
the name of this person.
           </div>=20
           <div>
            If any of you would be interested in attending such a meeting, =
please get in touch with me.
           </div>=20
           <div>
            Cheers.
