THURSDAY, JUNE. 5: MARITIME BUTTERFLY ATLAS

The Maritimes Butterfly Atlas (MBA) is a five-year citizen-science
project which documents the occurrence of butterflies in the Maritime
provinces. The purpose of the MBA is to produce a snapshot of
butterfly populations in the Maritimes today and provide a baseline
dataset for the future. The information will be used to inform
conservation decisions, especially with regards to identifying species
and habitats of concern. John Klymko, the Atlas director, will
discuss the highlights of the project.

7:30 p.m. at the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History
