Hi all=20

I photographed a sub adult Laughing Gull at the west end of Big Island =
this morning, June 7. It was with a group of Ring-billed and Bonaparte's =
Gulls (5).
=20
Last night very nice show at Temperance St School in New Glasgow despite =
the drizzle. Many Chimney Swifts were present when I arrived at 8:30 and =
they did all kinds of swoops at the Chimney with several pulses entering =
around 8:53 and 9:13. My estimate for the night was 451 swifts just 10 =
under the high spring total on May 29.=20

Earlier in the week, June 2, Sandy MacGregor photographed an Eastern =
Towhee at MacLellan's Brook (near intersection with Brook Rd.). It was =
not seen the next day.=20

At Scout Camp Rd. in Pomquet on June 3, Haley Jeffrey, our piping plover =
rep from Bird Studies Canada, photographed a 1st spring male Indigo =
Bunting.

cheers from drizzly northern mainland
