It was an interesting day today with my going through three counties. Ther=
e were leps about everywhere=2C but I was not able to get many photos due t=
o my being told not to dilly dally. In my travels I saw duskywings=2C azu=
res=2C cabbage whites=2C clouded sulphurs=2C (tiger swallowtails were every=
where)=2C northern crescents=2C a white admiral=2C and one other larger but=
terfly=2C which I did not have chance to ID=2C which might have been a frit=
illary. The white admiral=2C duskywings and northern crescents were all fi=
rst time sightings for this year for me. I have to key out my ode from Bel=
lisle Marsh. There were also lots of damselflies about. We had a turkey j=
ust before the Mt. Merritt Road close to Keji. I believe we were still in =
Albany. It was feeding in the ditch beside the road not handy any houses a=
t all. =20
At the Bellisle Marsh there were six sora rails of which I saw three. Ther=
e were also two American bitterns calling. They sounded almost underfoot=
=2C but I did not get to see them. =20
=20
I took a picture of a turtle at the French Basin Trail=2C which I think was=
a blandings turtle. The shell was different from that of a painted turtle=
. More rounded like that of the blandings. I'm not sure of the quality as=
I've not downloaded it yet=2C but if someone would like me to forward what=
 I've got then I can. =20
