Below is the eBird report from our NSBS Bike ride in Mahone Bay this =
morning. Richard Stern and I were the only two participants. Conditions =
were quite windy and that along with the new leaf cover made locating =
birds quite difficult. It was an enjoyable outing regardless with 44 =
species seen or heard plus one additional "hopeful" that will require =
more investigation.=20

Possibly the best bird was a late female Bufflehead at Whynacht's Cove.

The low turnout for this outing was not a complete surprise, it was =
proposed quite late and cycling does not appeal to everyone. I am quite =
happy that a few others did show some interest and will no doubt run =
this trip an other year with a few minor changes.
