Richard Stern and I were the only two participants. Conditions = were quite windy and that along with the new leaf cover made locating = birds quite difficult. It was an enjoyable outing regardless with 44 = species seen or heard plus one additional "hopeful" that will require = more investigation.=20 Possibly the best bird was a late female Bufflehead at Whynacht's Cove. The low turnout for this outing was not a complete surprise, it was = proposed quite late and cycling does not appeal to everyone.
