Hi Angus & All,                             June 28, 2014
    Were most size classes represented ? (~2"-8")

    One curious feature that someone may know is the habits of recently =
hatched PT. I think I have never seen one with a shell less than 2" (5 =
cm) long which I think (drawing on memory) is about 4 times the area of =
a newly hatched one.=20

  <snip>

  - 22 Painted Turtles hauled out on a couple of boards on the Scotian =
Gold Pond, The most by far that I have seen here over many years. So no =
problem with their numbers here. Also a few Bullfrogs snoring.
  - This area is usually rich in Catbirds but none so far this year. =
Has their absence been noted elsewhere or is it just me?

  Angus
