There were two Gull-billed Terns working the Cherry Hill Beach yesterday for about an hour around noon, giving me some pretty nice close views. I have some doc shots which you can view here. The pics aren't so hot, but in the field I could easily see the fairly stout all-black bill, and they spent all of their time plucking food from the beach rather than going over the water.

There were also five Laughing Gulls there, and I found a few Laughing Gulls at Risser's and Hirtle's beaches as well.

And non-southerners but a bit unusual were three White-winged Scoters and about 20 Black Scoters off Risser's Beach.
