I visited Jean Hartley in Rockingham, HRM yesterday. She reports that the pair of Northern Cardinals which were hanging about her very bird-friendly yard this summer (lush multiflora rose tangles) have produced a fledgling. There is now a young male bird as well. Patricia L. Chalmers Halifac
